This is a unique oil seal kit that we developed with downhill riders in our mind. Extreme conditions and loads, that DH riders ride in, are the common reason for rear suspension failure. Due to such an abuse, a DH rear shock may experience oil rupture or leakage, and as a result sustain severe damage, not to speak about flawed performance. Our kit is designed to ensure that under no circumstances the rear shock will leak oil - no matter the amount of punishment applied to it. This kit is ideal for DH riders.
 
When installing the blue U-ring, please don't forget to install properly - with the skirt of the U-ring facing towards the oil.
 
Also, we strongly advise to replace the original aluminium Internal Floating Piston, if you still have one, with our NEW and VERY MUCH IMPROVED IFP. Original Fox piston has the tendency to wear out very fast, fills the oil with the particles of aluminium, making it black, and in general performs very poorly, letting the oil into the piggiback of the shock. We think it is actually a must, to change the original IFP, if you want to keep the functionality of your shock on proper level.

One of the best purchases with this kit would be our IMPROVED Bottom Out Bumper. The original Marzocchi bottom out bumper is not the best one, and deteriorates quickly. From the other hand, our bumper is much sturdier and can take much of abuse during long period of time. Here for example the photo of our improved bottom out bumper on a shock. The shock is being abused constantly on downhill races. The bumper is installed for two years already and still in excellent condition as you may see, didn't loose its form and didn't deteriorate. It's been through the roughest terrain, excessive heat, direct sun beams, temperature amplitudes, and several shock services.

Fox DHX Coil from all manufacturing years
Fox Van R/RC with a 1/2 inch shaft. The kit is good also for servicing the newer Vanilla R shock with 1/2'' shaft, with some leftovers. Means, you will not need all the seals from the kit for servicing this shock. This kit will not suit for servicing older Vanillas with 3/8'' shaft - for this purpose please see Fox Vanilla R 3/8'' listing of mine.

This oil seal kit does not include Eyelet/DU bushings, since they are not always need to be replaced. But if they are damaged and need replacement - you can also find them in my store.
 
The kit does not include air seals kit.
 
Attention! We strongly warn against the danger involved in handling the system without proper knowledge. 
Discharging nitrogen before starting treatment of a rear shock is obligatory.
 
The kit offers you new and vastly improved sealing and tolerance, making your shock service very cheap and much better, especially comparing to full rebuild performed by the shock manufacturer.
